Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EAL)
Many of our products are designed as Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EAL). They meet the requirements of an EAL as per the EPA’s guidance document that defines standards for Environmentally Acceptable Lubricants (EPA 800-R-11-002) and as required by EPA’s 2013 U.S. Vessel General Permit (VGP). They are ultimately designed to biodegrade after use, reducing their environmental impact and ensuring compliance with a multitude of environmental rules and regulations.
Environmental Synergy
Some of our “Environmental Synergistic” lubricants provide environmental harm reduction without requiring the level of biodegradability of an EAL. While they do not qualify as EALs they are still non-toxic, sustainable and high performing for your equipment and your sustainability goals.
